The sniper is a staple of any respectable shooter and TF2 is no different. His primary weapon is a high-power rifle which can easily take down any opponent. However, Valve has removed one advantage a sniper usually has. Once you have your eye in the scope your enemies can see a small laser dot wherever you're aiming. On the plus side the longer you have your eye in the scope the more powerful the shot. The sniper has limited abilities in close quarters so you may need to whip out your machete from time to time. If you like watching your enemies drop like rag dolls then he's your man.
