He's big, he's bad and he has a BFG. The Heavy's primary weapon is a heavy minigun capable of mowing through just about anything at close range. While he is the slowest class in TF2 he does have the most health and teamed with a medic this can be increased to a whopping 450HP! But be mindful of your ammo, the minigun will eat it up in no time. The biggest thing to avoid with the heavy is open space since his slow speed makes him easy pickings for even the worst sniper. But if all else fails you can always put up your fists and go for a first round knockout.
